At the beginning of February, the major IGaming trade fair ICE London was held in London. At this fair, the Malta Gaming Authority, better known to everyone as MGA, made a big announcement announcing that they have revamped their website and, in addition, made a new logo, which will immediately replace the old logo everywhere on different sites during February.
Definition of the new logo
MGA announced the new MGA logo design as follows “The new logo combines visual references to the letter M and the play button, simultaneously reflecting the gaming industry and the constant pursuit of progress and innovation.” Regarding the new website, the Malta Gaming Authority, or MGA, has renewed its website and they have used a stylish UX design and improved the user interface, with which they have improved its usability and enabled users to surf the site more easily, as well as making it easier to find the most important things.

Website renewal
MGA has wanted to raise its profile as competition in the industry has intensified. Supervision of Responsible Gaming and inspections of casinos have also been enhanced. It is probably a natural continuation of this that the profile of the sites has also been raised by renewal. They themselves say that with this reform, the authority (MGA) wanted to raise awareness of its own authority expertise, innovation and other top-level expertise.
“We are fully committed to upholding these values as we strive to maintain Malta’s status as a preferred location for bona fide operators while ensuring an even safer environment for our licensees,” Carl Brincat (MGA CEO) announced to the unit.
MGA had, of course, timed this announcement for a big event in the industry, where all the key actors are present and the greatest possible publicity value. London’s ICE trade fair was a great place to make an announcement about which the authority said as follows:
“MGA is always present, constantly developing and always open to listening to the industry. Exhibitions like ICE London offer us the opportunity to meet stakeholders near and far, as well as new and future stakeholders.”
Our assessment of the site change
As people working in the industry and working at MGA casinos, the MGA website is a daily destination for us and for the average player it is an invaluable resource, at least when there have been some problems with a casino. The functionality of the websites is of course important then, and after such a quick introduction, it is almost necessary to say that yes, the user experience has improved on the websites.

What do we have to say about the redesigned logo?
The new MGA logo as newly designed and implemented logo is of course very busy, because the logo is on about 50 different pages on these pages alone, not to mention other sites. So, of course, we’re not wildly happy about the new logos, which keep us busy. But back to business…
We are used to the old logo and we think it was very functional, good and representative. The new logo may also become like that. But still the question is why was the reform made? Although the logo has been requested to be changed during this month, we suspect that the old logo will be encountered for years to come.
Which betting sites are MGA casinos?
There are several betting sites in our reviews that operate under an MGA license. These include, for example: N1 Casino, Casino Universe, 24Bettle Casino, LuckyBull
Finally
New MGA logo and new websites have been introduced in February 2023. We are still getting used to them, but read about it on our website.
